Traveling to Tanzania to Make A Difference

Several months ago a mate approached me with the idea of starting a Non- Governmental organisation that could help others in society. Many meetings later, Lars Ulrik and I find ourselves on the way to Tanzania, Africa to sow the first seeds of hope for various communities in the Northern part of the country. We will start the building of a school in the Tanga region that will serve as a hub for the education of young Maasai girls in coming years and help protect Albinos confronted by persecution based on unfortunate prejudices within their communities. We will also make a short documentary about it all, sponsored by a generous grant that we won through Danida, the proceeds of which, once our expenses have been calculated, will be donated to the building of the school. But we need more and we need you – If the idea of helping others help themselves sounds appealing – check out our project via Jengo.dk and find out how you can contribute and what your donations are invested in. I am excited and curious ahead of our trip as I return to the beautiful continent I left 10 score years ago.
